Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP and chief Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut criticised Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the BJP regarding the recent NEET question paper leak here on Friday, even as the BJP criticised Raut’s stand on the issue.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Raut said, “If the government cannot conduct the biggest exam in the country properly, is Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis not responsible?”

“Maharashtra is the hotbed of paper leaks. All this happened under his nose. Now the Indian Air Force (IAF) has been called to conduct the exam properly. What will the IAF do? What can the IAF do? Can it hold elections, protect the borders and carry out Operation Sindoor simultaneously? All those accused in the NEET question paper leak case are BJP supporters. We demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Those who set the question paper are BJP people,” Sanjay Raut said.
However, the BJP’s Maharashtra unit chief spokesperson Navnath Ban said that “Sanjay Raut has lost his mental balance. Both the Maharashtra government and the central government have carried out surgical strikes against the bases of paper leaks. Neither the Chief Minister nor the Union Education Minister haved shrugged off their responsibility, but are showing the courage to take action against the accused. However, Sanjay Raut has gone into despair and become frustrated. If you have the courage, ask Rahul Gandhi to answer how Shivraj Motegaonkar, who is close to the Congress, is involved in this case”.
“If the government has taken the help of the IAF to ensure that the examination is conducted smoothly, why is Sanjay Raut getting upset? Because it was Congress that leaked the papers in Maharashtra in this case. Shivraj Motegaonkar, who is close to Congress, is in the custody of the CBI. never attack the Congress using harsh words. First ask Rahul Gandhi about it and only then criticise the BJP. The BJP has nothing to do with this paper leak,” BJP’s Maharashtra unit chief spokesperson Navnath Ban said.
“The people of Maharashtra have ended your party. Pay attention to that first. Have you taken a contract from Rahul Gandhi to merge the Shiv Sena with Congress? The people of Maharashtra have recognised that Sanjay Raut is trying to merge the Shiv Sena with the Congress,” BJP’s Maharashtra unit chief spokesperson Navnath Ban said.
